The Stuck Bus
So while the bus was stuck in the mud, mind you, we couldn't even move toward the woods, let alone backwards, or to BOTH of the sides.
Then the bus driver kept trying to get the headlights to work, but something went wrong with the headlights! We couldn't get any help!!
Amanda Burnett was like, "What do we do!?" and then the bus driver said, "what we NEED is a very big tow truck."
The headlights were pretty much broken so we couldn't get any attention from the other drivers. And the bus driver's walkie-talkie can't get no signal either! Casey Johnson was talking about how we had to survive on our own lunches. Then Liam Conley said, "I'm gonna buy my lunch today!" Casey said, "Share with Bradly, he's your friend.''
*sigh* then a man came to the bus. We soon found out that he was one of the parents of one of the kids on the bus. We asked if he had a cellphone. He said, "I left it at my house."
The bus gave a sudden jerk. "EVERYBODY MOVE TO THE BACK OF THE BUS!" the bus driver yelled. "YAY!" we yelled as we invaded the 5th grade seats. "BOO YEAH!"The 5th graders groned. We happily ran to the back of the bus.
Most of the 3rd and 4th graders began to write SOS(save our souls) or SOB(save our bus) or sometime's PLEH(help in backwards) or just plain HELP, which I pointed out to the kindergartener who wrote that. That the people outside would see "pleh" instead of "help" written inside. So we shouls write "pleh" on the inside so the outside people will read "help" instead. I don't think that the kid understood a single word I said.
Finally, a bus from Cutler School came, Bus 11. "EVERYBODY MOVE TO THE FRONT OF THE BUS!" the bus driver yelled again. "WAHHHH" we were so disappointed. We slowly walked to the front of the bus. Bus 11 passed us!!! NUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU! we yelled. The man kept jumping up and down and waved his hands.
We were all sure we would be stuck here for life. But a few minutes later, the bus returned, with a towtruck! Then the bus driver said "Everyone get off, one by one, and get on Bus 11!" We trouped off the icy road to the Bus 11. We were 27 minutes late for shool. We were stuck in the mud for 45 minutes!
